I know I'm lucky to still be married after 35 years (happily, for the most part). My Main tip is... no matter what... "Let it go." Sometimes I'm wrong, sometimes I want to run into opposing traffic, sometimes I still want to prove I'm right... but the truth is, just let It go. Grudges don't make anyone happier. They are heavy. I'm not perfect. I still wake up pissed sometimes, but I also have to remind myself even in those moments... LET.IT.GO. Woosa!2 points

Anyone else taken a break this year from booze? I'm 10 months without it, and I've lost 25 lbs effortlessly.1 point

it was sometime in the 1950's. I was around 10 years old. Mom and Dad took me and the brothers (and eventually my one sister) to Grandma and Grandpa. Loved Grandma's cooking. Loved Grandpa's walks, and recycling (he was the crucial person to push me toward becoming an Ecology teacher). But more than that - Grandpa loved Mad magazine. He had Mad books by Don Martin. He had a wry, persnickety sense of humor that you needed to love Alfred E. Newman (What, Me Worry?) and Don Martin's way with words (as I was to learn later in life - it was a science AND an art - knowing how to do "Onomatopoeia") Well... my point is...I've loved Mad magazine (yes - you can still subscribe to it!) and Don Martin actually retired early...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Martin_(cartoonist)1 point

If you live in any city where they're doing any type of moive/TV production. Get yourself on set as an extra. Right off the bat you'll have a conversation opener with women who are extras, too. if it's at least an 8 hour set you'll even get the chance to sit down and have a meal with quite a few women. It's just a simple ask to get their info. to perhaps see them on the next gig or to stay in contact by Facebook or such. Now after you meet them it's still up to you to figure out how to get out of the friend zone after that. And even if it doesn't work out (romantically) you still get paid to be an extra...lol.1 point

I'm in need of some awesome recipes, that are mildly healthy. AKA, nothing deep fried. Most everything else is on the table... I want to cook more at home and eat cleaner. No keto, paleo, or Atkins crap... just fresh and healthy. Any ideas??1 point

Can't wait to see the matchups this year! 24 days until we have two months of playoff bliss!1 point

It's been an interesting year for all college athletes as the school year approaches. I've read a bunch of different things about different conferences, and I feel just as conflicted as the decision makers do. It can be detrimental for a college athlete to miss a prime year playing, but it's also important everyone stays safe. As professional sports have slowly started, we see the "bubble" method isn't even truly effective. I hope that whatever is decided for all of these students, that the entire sports world and community is as supportive as possible and find a way to avoid these players losing a major opportunity.1 point

The best woman I ever dated wore pantyhose to bed every night, even while we made love! It was the most exciting sex I've ever had in my life, and she ruin't me! I only ever want to make love anymore with women who will also wear nylons too!1 point

Tonight I will be thankful for a takeout, fully prepped turkey dinner! My wife didn't want to cook this year so we said to hell with it! Got takeout and all the fixings from a local place.1 point

Skipping the holiday all together this year. Looking forward to Christmas and hoping it's easier to see my folks who live local to me. Such a strange closing to an even stranger year. I'm thankful for mine and my family's health through all of it though. Lots of people have lost loved ones. My heart breaks for them. Skipping the holiday is the smallest issue in comparison. Happy Turkey Day, all!1 point

I'm doing a huge Zoom thanksgiving with 4 households! Hopefully the timing works out so we are all eating at the same time! Could be a disaster, but I'm looking forward to it!1 point

My family and I have decided to skip it this year and stay home without TV or cell phones, eating Chinese takeout. My kids are going to lose their minds without electronics, but I'm excited to sit down and eat and play games all night!1 point

Online! Honestly, these days with COVID and 2020 being weird, online is the way to go safely and not meetup with tons of new people.1 point

I really appreciate your perspective and direction April, thank you. It’s nice to get solution oriented advice. On the other hand, Michelle was often crushing and so I’m curious as to the following: People gain weight and people lose weight. This should not, in my opinion, impact ones ability to physically love (unless we’re talking morbid obesity ~ health). Michelle mentioned that she talked to her man about his weight. What I heard her say was something along the lines of; you’re way over weight and no longer attractive, suggesting he a least go to “lite beer 🍺”. Wow, she missed the opportunity to ask him if there was something going on that caused him to choose to drink so many calories; get to the issue rather than the outward appearance. Though he lost the weight, at this age, he may lose his sexual prowess due to having to qualify for it AND because all she cared about, with regards to this was how he looked VS felt. I was also taken aback my Michelle’s comments about her not being able to stand (hated) sex with her former husband aka: her children’s father. (the kids she loves more than herself) Really? On a public forum? Not nice and not necessary. I mean who benefits from that knowledge when presented so callously?! Who took care of the kids while she pursued her education? The one that left him in the dust of her respect? She did marry a truck driver, so why the shock about the fact that he remains a truck driver? I look forward to more talks, thanks! It's also important to remember that everyone has different things that solidify as memories. My sister and I could tell stories of two totally different childhoods! The things that stood out to my sister didn't always stand out to me and vice versa!1 point

I hear you loud and clear. When I get a massage, I will only let a woman do it, however, when it comes to rectal exams and any other exam of my private man parts, it's only by other men. I always request exams to be done by men...1 point

Whenever I get frustrated with my wife, I remind myself that she is my MATCH! I can't just take all the good things about her and say I "deserve" it. If there are some challenging things about her, I must be contributing in some way. That keeps me focused on solving the challenge and making sure I am doing everything in my power to do so. Maybe that's helpful to the men here as much as it helps me. I hope it is.1 point

I LOVED this podcast. I had already listened to the LA Times Betty Broderick "It Was Simple" Podcast, so this was fascinating to me! Definitely go listen! https://www.manopause.com/podcast/manopod-michelle-afont-the-cautionary-tale-of-betty-broderick-and-how-to-avoid-a-toxic-divorce/1 point

I prefer to stand up paddle, or snorkel, swim, dive, surf or anything water related when its hot. Its convenient due to where I live. I still have to hydrate frequently. Indoor Yoga in that kind of heat is also more comfortable. If I do decide to be active in extreme heat I definitely try not to over exert myself.1 point

To lose weight you have to create a calorie deficit. Low fat, low sugar helps but calories in<calories out is the most important. Exercise is a given.1 point
