Horseracing

I've never been much of a betting man... I go to Vegas for the quarter slots and not much bigger. But I will never forget going to the Santa Anita racetrack a few years back and how much fun it was! I playfully bet on a few horses, and surprisingly left with a few extra twenties in my pocket. Actually the day that I went, they were hosting a Grey Goose cocktail competition in a closed off area. The coordinators were kind enough to share the drinks that were made with the people nearby, watching the horses. I think the track has closed this year, with no sight of when and if it will reopen. Such a bummer. Well, I will always have my memory of my day there and hopefully can find another track to visit one day soon!
