Does anyone have any resources or tips they would recommend for getting into meditation?
Now is a great time to start getting into meditation! This would be a great article topic for us to expand upon. For now I would check out this article: https://www.manopause.com/health/stay-calm-carry-on-but-be-vigilant-15936/ as it has a lot of great calming techniques amidst COVID-19.
Meditation is a great way to relieve stress, and it's free.
Meditation is a mindset. You will need to research different breathing techniques and find a quiet place. I would recommend 15 minutes twice a day to start. It will do wonders for your stress levels.
Two apps I use...the Peloton digital app has meditation classes for morning, during the day, and going to sleep. 5, 10, 15 minute sessions. Another app is Unplug meditation which also has some great sleep meditations. That's my biggest issue is shutting down my mind when I want to sleep. I have found meditating before going to sleep is a game changer.
